Are X-rays necessary?
X-rays provide an important tool that shows the condition of your teeth, roots, jaw and overall facial bone composition. X-rays can reveal the advance nature of periodontal disease as well as tumors and abscesses. Exposure to radiation is extremely brief and minimal. We always utilize safety precautions, such as high speed film minimize exposure time and lead aprons prevent exposure to surrounding areas of the body such as the neck and upper chest.
Do you offer teeth whitening?
Teeth whitening is a bleaching process that lightens discoloration and removes stains from the enamel of the teeth, most often caused by consumption of coffee, tea, colas, tobacco, red wine and other staining substance.. Tooth-whitening is ideal for patients who have healthy, unrestored teeth and would like to have a whiter, brighter smile. We offer Zoom!, an in-office procedure which may whiten teeth in as little as an hour. A cleaning is always recommended prior to any whitening session.
